Llano will start their own chapter. The first business meeting is May 22, 2004 at 6:00pm at Inman's BBQ in Llano. Houston is under consideration to start a GPAA chapter there. The State officials were very pleased with what they saw and heard on 4/16 at Long's. The last week in February is the GPAA Gold Show in Fort Worth at the Will Rogers Coliseum. We will have a booth. Grady mentioned there is a 4 to 5 mile stretch on Sandy Creek that the owners want an assessment done on. There will be 4 or 5 people invited to participate. The weekend before Thanksgiving there will be a Civil War Re-enactment in Hempstead. It is $50.00 for a booth. If we decide to go, everyone has to be in period dress. There is camping for tents only. RV's have to reside outside the premises.
