June 2006 Meeting Minutes

The meeting started at 4:45pm at Cooper’s Pit BBQ in downtown Round Rock. There were 10 total attendees. Laurie Klepac took meeting notes.

Gerry Davison, our new Claims Chairman, needs business cards made. Kevin Green will work on getting those for him.

Laurie gave the treasurers report. The chapter has $953.45 in the account.

Kevin is still working on the chapter’s 501c3 application. The chapter will file as an “educational” organization.

The GPAA has announced that it will not return to Texas in 2007 due to size constraints in available buildings.

Gerry has put together a document asking the GPAA for official help in acquiring property for prospecting in Texas. Daniel Klepac read the document to members. This document will be sent to the other Texas chapters. Daniel has the decision on when to send this out to the GPAA.

Due to the low attendance, the meeting concluded early.
